As a Parkade Security Guard, there is a high focus on Parkade Patrols, Access control and customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Parkade environments

PT Position 2: Sat-Sun 0800-1600

Responsibilities for Parkade Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage Parkade access control
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Foot Parking Patrols as per post orders and as instructed by Supervisor to identify potential risks
• Traffic Control
• Working as a team and report to the onsite supervisor
• Providing Escorts for Visitors, and issue passes for appropriate areas.
• Ensuring all doors are closed, and vacant areas have lights off.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Providing active response, assist EMS, Fire Watch, Pressurized Systems and chemical spills.
• Employee work alone process.
• Documenting/reporting issues using electronic devices.
• Adhering to all Company standards and Site orders.
• Be a good deportment.

Qualifications for Parkade Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent.
