As a Residential Apartment Security Guard , there is a high focus on scheduled patrolling for checking any irregularities, de- escalations and customer service, since you will be working with people all shift, in a residential environment

Responsibilities for Residential Apartment Security Guard

• Conduct regular patrols of two apartment buildings, completing approximately 55 scan points per patrol
• Maintain a strong visible security presence to deter criminal activity
• Monitor the property to ensure all areas remain secure
• Ensure exterior garage doors are properly closed and secured
• Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security concerns
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports using the G-Track device
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns across the property
• Visible deterrent to any vagrancy, vandalism, and/or loitering. You must be vigilant in patrolling those areas and be visible walking around

Qualifications for Residential Apartment Security Guard

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Ability to patrol and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to emergency situations
