Tell us about how your natural ability to engage with others reassures and inspires confidence. As a  Security Guard in a Strip Mall setting , there is a high focus on customer service, Exterior Patrolling and De-escalation  since you will be working with people in all shift in Strip Mall environment and  make sure they are safe.

Positions we are looking to fill

P1: Saturday 13.15 -21.15 and Sunday 11:15-18:15 

P2: Monday to Thursday 12:15-20:15 and Friday 13:15-21:15

Responsibilities for Strip Mall Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Performing Constant exterior  Foot  Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence and  remove any Pan handlers 
• Crowd control and customer service, especially addressing individuals who may gather outside and harass customers.
• Deter any criminal activity
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
• Provide Excellent customer service.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for Strip Mall Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• Tactical experience ( An asset for this site)
• Be able to work outside
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
