We are seeking a Part-Time Security Guard to work with one of our biggest clients in Winnipeg. In this position, you’ll contribute to the security and well-being of healthcare workers for some of the largest brands in the industry!

What Does a Security Guard in the Commerce Industry Do?

• Greet people politely, ensuring a welcoming and respectful atmosphere at all times.
• Deter criminal activity through visible presence and by strictly following security procedures.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, and security breaches with urgency and efficiency.
• Prevent unauthorized access, ensuring all areas remain secure.
• Conduct interior patrols as per the schedule, utilizing a G-track device to detect any unusual activity.
• Submit daily occurrence reports with detailed documentation of any incidents or observations.
• Be comfortable with technology to effectively carry out duties.
• Provide customer service by engaging with individuals in a professional manner.

Qualifications to Become a Security Guard in the Commerce Industry :

• Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard License
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
• High School Education or equivalent
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Excellent Computer Skills for reporting and monitoring
