As a Security Guard in the Health Sector, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of visitors, clients, and staff. We are currently seeking one Full-Time Security Guard to join our team and support one of our largest clients in Winnipeg.

What Does a Security Guard in the Health Sector Do?

  • Customer Service: Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor while treating everyone with respect
  • Access Control & Reporting: Manage access control and document activities through clear and concise reports
  • CCTV Monitoring & De-escalation: Monitor surveillance systems and handle de-escalation situations effectively
  • Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate and report incidents, hazards, and security breaches
  • Special Event Support: Monitor and manage crowd control and access during special events
  • Emergency Protocols: Take swift action during emergencies following Gardaworld and USB protocols
  • Desk Duties: Perform administrative duties, including desk monitoring and support
  • Additional Duties: Complete any other assigned tasks as required

 

Qualifications to Become a Security Guard in the Health Sector:

  • Security Guard License: Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard License required
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service: Strong skills in providing excellent customer service
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, with the ability to manage security systems
