The role involves interacting with people across all shifts, actively listening to concerns, and resolving conflicts professionally while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Successful candidates demonstrate composure, strong observation skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks before they escalate. Clear communication, empathy, and professionalism are essential to ensure all individuals feel respected while adhering to site protocols.Flexibility is essential for this position. The selected candidate must be able to cover additional event shifts throughout April, May, June, July, and August, as required.

Friday and Saturday : 1000-2100 plus all the additional coverages mentioned below

April 16th – 10-8 (Jets and Disability Cheque)

April 20-21st- 10-8 (Child Tax)

P4:April 28-30th – 10-8 (CPP,OAS,EIA)

May 20th-21st- 10-8 (Child Tax and Disability)

May 27-28th 10-8 (CPP, OAS,EIA)

June 18- 10-8 (Disability)

July 20-22nd 10-8 (Disability, child tax)

July 29-30th 10-8 (CPP,OAS,EIA)

August 20- 10-8 (Disability, child tax)

August 27- 10-8 (CPP,OAS,EIA)

Responsibilities for Commercial Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Crowd control and customer service, especially addressing individuals who may gather outside and harass customers.
• Deter any criminal activity
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
• Provide Excellent customer service.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Qualifications for Commercial Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
