As an Industrial Security guard , there is a high focus on Scheduled foot and Mobile patrols, Excellent report writing , desk duties and exceptional customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in an industrial environment.
This is a Temporary position covering for an employee on leave from April 18- December 22, 2026.

Responsibilities for Industrial Security Guard
- Complete daily activity and incident reports using the G-Track device.
- Ensure all site doors are properly closed and secured.
- Monitor and control access to the parking lot.
- Identify and remove trespassers or vagrants from the premises as required.
- Conduct exterior patrols six times per shift (nine times per shift on weekends).
- Perform regular exterior door checks throughout the shift.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security concerns.
- Operate the site vehicle to conduct mobile patrols (valid driver’s license required).
- Complete mobile patrol checks and foot patrols of the site.
- Maintain a professional and positive work environment through teamwork and communication.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the client.
Qualifications for Industrial Security Guard
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard license

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract

Reliability Status Clearance required or ability to obtain

Controlled Goods Clearance required or ability to obtain

Previous security experience considered an asset

Experience using security technology, including reporting devices and systems such as G-Track

Experience monitoring security cameras and responding to alarm systems considered an asset

Ability to operate a site vehicle and conduct mobile patrols

Comfortable working outdoors and conducting frequent patrols throughout the shift

Ability to work weekends and maintain a consistent schedule
