As a Training Centre Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, Scheduled patrol , Access card issuance and writing reports, since you will be working with people all shift in Data Centre environment

- Permanent position: Monday to Thursday (1600-2130) and Saturday (0800-1500) - Extra Shifts are added during tax season are Friday evening 16:00 – 20:30 (additional 4.5 hours) and Saturday 8:00 – 18:30 (additional 3.5 hours)

Responsibilities for Training Centre Security Guard
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Maintain a safe and Secure environment
- Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence • Security guard will assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment.
- Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
- Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc
- Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
Qualifications for Training Centre Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Be able to work Evening shifts and Weekend day shifts
- Be able to cover extra shifts added during Tax season
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- No Parking facility at the site
